What is Yecora?
Yecora is an all-in-one management platform built specifically for bakers. It handles professional baker's percentage formulas, production planning, client management, invoicing, delivery routes, and more — replacing the spreadsheets, sticky notes, and guesswork that most bakeries rely on.
Who is Yecora for?
Any baker who wants to get more organized. Whether you're a home baker scaling your first sourdough, a cottage or nano baker selling at farmers markets, or a wholesale bakery managing dozens of clients and daily production runs — Yecora is designed to grow with you.
What's a baker's percentage formula?
Baker's percentages express every ingredient as a percentage of the total flour weight. It's the industry standard for scaling recipes up or down. Yecora supports full three-column formula sheets with total formula, preferment breakdowns, and final dough calculations — just like the ones professional bakers use.
Is Yecora free?
Yes — for formula tools and community features, Yecora is free forever with no limits. You can create unlimited baker's percentage formulas, document your process, and publish and fork formulas in the community without paying anything. When you start selling, your first 5 clients and first team seat are free. Most home and nano bakers pay nothing at all.
What does "private beta" mean?
We're onboarding bakers in small batches so we can work closely with early users, listen to feedback, and make sure Yecora solves real problems before opening to everyone. When you request access, you'll be added to the waitlist and we'll reach out personally when it's your turn.
Can I import my existing recipes and client lists?
Yes. Yecora has an AI-powered Smart Import tool that reads any spreadsheet — CSV or Excel — and automatically maps your columns to the right fields. You can import products, clients, ingredients, and even full baker's percentage formulas from existing spreadsheets.
What's formula forking?
Yecora has a public formula library where bakers can publish their formulas. Other bakers can "fork" a published formula — copying it into their own bakery to modify and make their own. Every fork preserves the lineage back to the original, creating a family tree of baking knowledge.
Do my clients need a Yecora account?
Wholesale clients get their own portal where they can view products, manage standing orders, see invoices, and make payments. They'll create a simple account to access their portal, but they don't need to understand or interact with the bakery management side of Yecora.
How does invoicing work?
Select a client and a date range, and Yecora tallies every delivery, applies custom pricing, and generates a detailed invoice. Clients can pay directly from their portal with a card, or you can mark invoices as paid manually. Auto-pay is also available for clients who opt in. Unlimited invoicing is included with every client — no per-invoice fees.
How does Yecora's pricing work?
Two simple rates: $5 per active client per month (first 5 free) and $5 per team seat per month (first seat free). Formula tools and community access are free forever. Each client includes unlimited invoicing, standing orders, custom pricing, and portal access. A nano baker with 5 clients pays $0. A cottage bakery with 15 clients pays $50/month. No per-invoice fees, no platform cuts, no surprises.
Is my data secure?
Yes. Yecora uses row-level security on every database table, encrypts data in transit and at rest, supports two-factor authentication, and follows security best practices throughout. Your formulas, client data, and financial information are protected.
Who built Yecora?
Yecora is built by Matthew Kosoy, a baker and software developer in San Francisco. Matt quit his job building websites in 2016 to start Rosalind Bakery in his home kitchen. Yecora grew out of the tools he wished existed while running his own bakery.
